George (G.M.) Bogle, 87, of Girard, entered into eternal rest August 13, 2025.

George was born April 28, 1938 to George M. and Faye C. (Harry) Bogle.

He attended Beulah Grade School, Crawford County High School, and 1 year at Kansas State Teachers College of Pittsburg.

On November 2, 1956, he married Lynnor J. Windsor in Miami, Ok, married 64 years.

George was a farmer in earlier years, was a member of #441 Pipe Fitters Union, a designer at Day & Zimmerman Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons and was a long time cattle rancher.

George was a lifelong member of Beulah Community Church. He enjoyed the trips he and Lynnor had together, in the U.S. and many overseas countries. He loved to play cards, pinochle, with his family. George and his Pinochle partner, Paul Worsley (great-nephew) won a lot of games!

George was preceded in death by his wife Lynnor, his parents, George and Faye Bogle, brother-in-law Jerry Shultz and brother-in-law Daniel (Sonny) Renn.

Survivors include his 4 children, Lori Magee, Gary (Jennifer) Bogle, Peggy (Mike) Cooseman, Penny (Todd) Linthicum, all of Pittsburg. Grandchildren Amanda, Morgan, and Trent Cooseman, Daniey Unruh, Blake Bogle, Jay Noe, and Jena Viles and 9 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Mary Shultz and Alice Renn, and brother-in-law Dewey Windsor. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard. A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Girard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Beulah Youth Ministry or the SEK Animal Advocates and these may be left at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
