George Burgan, 66, of Plainfield, passed away on November 29, 2024. He was born on June 4, 1958 in Indianapolis to the late Frank and Violet Burgan. George was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was an inspector for GM retiring in 2006. George enjoyed all things related to cars. He would watch Indy car, NASCAR, Formula 1 and even lawn mower races. George had his own show car and would work on race cars as well. He liked listening to southern rock music. George loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Miller. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include his loving wife, Lori Burgan; children, Sarah Graham and Chris Burgan; step daughter, Haley Bair; sister, Mona Boltinghouse; grandchildren, Jazzmine, Blaze, Lucas and James; great grandchild, Briar.
