George was born on January 14, 1954 in Tacoma, WA to Frank and Myrtle (Harmon) Poston. On Thursday July 22, 2021 he passed away 7/22/2021 at Home after a brief battle with an aggressive form of Bladder cancer at the age of 67. On his final day, he was surrounded by his loved ones, who he adored more than anything else in the world. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, George managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible, George is survived by his two daughters; Julianne and Jessica; 6 grandchildren Germe', Alyshya, Malia, Sammy, Jamal, Destiny; 4 siblings; Sandy, Frank, Peggy, David; Cousin Jim and many more cousins, nieces and nephews.
George will be missed by "Z", his beloved Orange Tabby; 3 Great Grandpups; Nike, Scooter, Marley and Great Grand cat Sebastian.
George was preceded in death by: Former Spouse Christina; 2 beloved Cats; NI & Snowy; Great Grandpup Buddy.
Dad was one of the best men I've ever known. It's hard to find people who are truly good, decent, hard-working, kind-hearted, and humble – Dad embodied all of these things.
We would like to extend our thanks for the overwhelming love and support that we have received. It's very much appreciated!
Will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest!
