George Heitger Obituary
George E. Heitger, Sr., age 58,of North Lawrence, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, following a period of declining health.
He was born July 11, 1965, in Massillon.
George worked at Chapel Hill Nursing Home for over 31 years.
He was a member of Stark County Rabbit Club. He enjoyed his rabbits, guinea pigs, and his fish.
George is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joyce A. (Jones) Heitger; mother, Patricia A. Heitger; two sons, George Heitger, Jr. and Anthony Heitger and his girlfriend, Amber Jackson; brother, Howard (Sandy) Heitger, III; and sister, Tina Mann.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard L. Heitger, Jr.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held June 18, 2024 at Northwest Stark Senior Center from 6pm to 9pm.

Joyce and family,
I am so sorry to hear of George passing. We worked together for many years and shared good and bad times. He was really a great guy and was so wonderful with the residents. May he Rest in peace and God Bless Him
