Graveside service for Mr. George Anthony Hernandez, 81, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 1:00PM Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mr. Hernandez was born on December 8, 1942, in Havana, Cuba, and passed away on March 7, 2024, in Sterlington, LA. He was a Vietnam Wartime Veteran. Mr. Hernandez was a retired Welder. Mr. Hernandez’s hobbies included RV traveling across the country, rock collecting, gold prospecting, boating, spending time with his wife, family and pets.
Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his parents, Fermin Hernandez and Eloina Hernandez; and brother, Armando Hernandez.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Hernandez of Sterlington, LA; three daughters, Elizabeth Spencer and husband Michael of LA California, Brandie Eppinette and wife Mindy of Luna, LA, and Krystal Skinner and husband James of Sterlington, LA; son, George Hernandez, Jr. of Tennessee; grandchildren, Natalie, Daniel, Adrien, and Tyler Henley; and great grandchildren, Caitlin and Alexander.
