George was born on Friday, September 12, 1930 in Larto, LA. and passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Jonesville, LA. He was a hardworking man of humble beginnings. From his early days as a school bus driver, navigating routes with a horse and buggy, to his ventures in catching and selling crawfish, George exemplified resilience and tenacity. Throughout his life, he tended to his cows and hogs, and found solace and purpose in farming. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies but cherished pastimes that brought him closer to nature.
A true working man, George's hands were calloused from years of toil in the fields. Yet, in his later years, he found joy in the simplicity of gardening, cultivating life from the earth.
