I was profoundly saddened to hear of the loss of Dr. Mark. He was my EP doctor for the last 10 years and performed numerous cardiac procedures on me. He was one in a million, a beautiful soul as well as a gifted clinician. His kind demeanor and reassuring nature made scary procedures so much easier. You were always in good hands with Dr. Mark. He was so loved by all his patients which is a testament to what a great physician and person he was. My sincere sympathy to Dr. Amy, who is also my doctor, his children, and all his family and friends. Rest in peace, Dr. Mark. You were loved by so many. . . .

I remember George as such a warm, caring, thoughtful, smart, funny, all around amazing person. Just a model of excellence in every respect. Offering my sincere condolences to Amy and the entire family. I will always remember George Mark as one of the finest colleagues I have had the privilege to know. With condolences,

George was one of my co-residents At temple. Just a great guy. Funny. Very approachable
Easy-going nature and fantastic sense of humor But at the same time, extremely smart. Tremendous bedside manner with patients And took medicine and being a doctor extremely seriously
Haven´t been in touch with them for for a while, but have such strong memories of him because he was such a great guy

God Bless you Dr.Mark. I know you are in Heaven. A brilliant, kind & compassionate man. My first memory of you was meeting you as a new patient in your office. I nervously blurted out that you looked too young to be putting in pace makers! You laughed & told me that you were my electrician and that appealed to the younger dudes, and the older dudes took care of the hearts plumbing issues. Lol. I am forever blessed & grateful for the excellent care that I received over these past 10 years from you & your team at The Heart House. My deepest condolences to your wife & children, your entire family, your friends, colleagues and to all your patients. We all will miss you tremendously and you will never be forgotten.-Sharon DeMayo

I am profoundly sad about Dr Mark´s passing. I was referred to him for several cardiac procedures and his expertise, patience, and compassion put me at ease. I´ll never forget when he took the time to call me to express his concern after learning that my brother (not his patient) had suffered a devastating stroke. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children, his friends and other loved ones, his Heart House colleagues, and his patients, like me, who will miss his devoted care. God bless Dr Mark and grant him peace.

So broken hearted to hear the sad news of my doctor, Dr Mark. He was so kind, gentle and a wonderful doctor in every way.
It was so emotional for the staff n myself this past Tuesday as he was set to do my Ablation. Blessed to have Dr Steven Levi step in for all his patients that day. I´m sure it was a long day for him carrying out his legacy for his friend and colleague. He even held both my hands, as I asked as Dr Mark would´ve done. He passed on Sunday, my birthday, Rest in peace Dr Mark and sending our love to his wife which he always talked so tenderly about & family.

Dr Mark performed two ablations for me. I have never felt safer or more at ease with any other doctor. His kindness and gentle manner were wonderful, and he put me at ease immediately when he explained how ablations work, and what he was going to do to make things right. And he did. My sincerest condolences go out to his wife, children, and Heart House family. I will miss him greatly. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

Dr. Mark was my cardiologist. When I met him first time after having heart failure, he made me feel safer, he was so kind. When again I saw him in the operation room in hospital for my heart ablation, what really made me liking him even more, was how good relationship were having members of his operating team. I knew that only good leader can create such working atmosphere. We met again for my second ablation in different hospital and impression was the same. He was very easy to talk to. My prayers are with his family. It's such a huge loss.

I first met George when I was an intern at Cooper. As resident he took excellent care of my grandfather. Fast forward and we´ve been cooper colleagues for the last 8 years. He always made sure to say hi and ask how my family was doing. My heart aches for his family, friends and patients. I will always remember his kindness and positive attitude.

I´ve had many doctors in my 64 years. And as many patients know that communication between patients and doctors is imperative. George is the best communicator I´ve ever met. He sits down and explains everything to you step by step. Every Nurse that´s worked around Dr. Mark loved him. He´s changed my life, And I´m sure many others. Prayers to his family, He will be missed.

I have been a patient of the Delaware Valley Cardiology Associates since 1973 when they started out on the opposite side of Elmer Hospital in a trailer. It was Dr. Kline. Dr. Silvers and a nurse who doubled as the office staff. When they moved to the other side of the Hospital and Dr. Kline and Dr. Silvers retired, Dr. Mark became my Cardiologist. Dr. Mark was an exceptional doctor. Several years ago, Dr. Mark preformed a catherization on me. As I was lying on the operating table, Dr. Mark said, you can watch the procedure on the monitor. I said. Doc, have you ever done this procedure before? He responded, I do them all the time. I responded, then you don't need my help. Dr. Mark gave me that smile and said, fair enough. Dr. Mark has been my youngest daughters Cardiologist for several years. She has a rare disorder and Dr. Mark spent numerous hours researching and staying up to date with current medical science regarding her disorder. He even gave her his personal phone number in case of an emergency. To Dr. Mark's family and coworkers, we extend our sincere sympathy. Thank you, Dr. Mark, for your years of professional service and true caring for your patients. May you rest in eternal peace.
