George Possinger Obituary

Born on April 5, 1932, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Paul and Hazel (Gearhart) Possinger. George was a welder for Line Material in East Stroudsburg, a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Appenzell, and a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Veronica Sargent of Reeders and Brenda McIntyre and husband, Jim of Springville; two sisters, Lois Turr of East Stroudsburg and Pat Koelher and husband, Rev of Saylorsburg; three grandchildren, Alfred Fariole and wife, Amy of Meshoppen, Ashley Walsh of Springville, and James McIntyre of Springville; and eight great grandchildren. George was pre-deceased by a brother, Paul Possinger.
Services will be Saturday, September 16, at 1:00PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke's Emergency & Transport Services, 2884 PA 611, Tannersville, PA 18372.
