Sending condolences to George's Family and prayers for George and his family. I taught and coached at Niles West HS for over 36 years. He was an inspiration to all of us. George helped so many students achieve success. May he rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear about George. He was an outstanding educator, and we are proud that he was a Life Member of our North Lake Shore Unit of the IL Retired Teachers Assn. He was known and beloved by all, and he will be sorely missed.
May his memory be a blessing.

George was such a kind and thoughtful man. He inspired so many young people with his teaching. We fondly remember him up in Williams Bay on his boat . May he RIP now .

Too many to remember but sitting outside on a beautiful evening having a meal at the lake.

George Pryjma, a man who had a heart of gold who created love and light whenever he went. I had George as a math team coach who would bring us these amazing sugar cookies. George was later my AP Calculus teacher in high school who had a lot of patience for me who got me over the line for good marks. George was someone who in my opinion was the antithesis to the culture of the north shore educational system that existed at the time. George and I became friends ever since, spanning well over 2 decades, where he saw me graduate college, medical school, residency, fellowship, and becoming a husband and father. I feel very blessed to have had George in my life. May his memory be a blessing.
