Gerald R. Anderson "Jerry" was born on December 17, 1936, and passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024. He graduated with a master's degree from Drake University and was a proud member of Sigma Kai. Jerry was a retried Air Force Colonel employed by Northwestern Bell and retired from AT&T. He helped form the Brooklyn Center Rotary Club and remained a member after moving to Minnetonka Beach. He was a great sports fan; loved Minnesota's college and professional teams. Jerry was an avid golfer and member of Wayzata Country Club for many years.
Preceded in death by son, Gerald R. Anderson Jr. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Joann Anderson; daughter, LaVon Kellner; granddaughter, Chloe Kellner and loyal shih tzu, Roxie. A memorial service will be held at St. Martin's Church, 2801 Westwood Road, Minnetonka Beach, MN on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Memorials preferred to St. Martin's. The service will be available on zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81824565657
