Gerald's family was the pride and joy of his life. He always spoiled his grandchildren, from babysitting them to following them in their activities, grandpa was their favorite toy. His favorite times were spent fishing with his two children and then grandchildren. The family deer hunting outings at his brother and sister in-laws' hobby farm were special to him, even going for one day this last November. He had a gentle and laid-back nature.
