Gerald W. Clements

In loving memory of Gerald (Gerry) Walter Clements, a devoted husband and esteemed parishioner of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024, at the age of 92. He was a 1949 graduate of St. Xavier high school. After graduating from U of L in 1953, he embarked on a successful career as an insurance agent. His sharp intellect and unwavering integrity earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gerry was a pillar of his community volunteering countless hours at his church, and a supporter of St. Joseph Orphanage. His generosity knew no bounds. He was an avid U of L fan and loved the Kentucky Derby.
Gerry is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (Kathy) Dolan of 44 years, a brother David as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings James, Eileen, Kathleen, Angela and Joan.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Dr. at 10am followed by Mass at 11am with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Orphanage in Gerry's memory, or the charity of your choice.
