DeLaittre, Gerald L. Of Brooklyn Center, age 95, passed away October 26th. Preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Sophie; brothers, Ronald & Donald (Mary). Survived by loving wife Beverly of 69 years; son, Dennis (Rachel); daughter, Jeanae (Tony) Hajder; grandchildren, Christina Hajder (Calvin), Nathan Hajder (Sophie) and Joseph DeLaittre, sister-in-law, Laurie; godchildren, David Francis lll and Jeffrey DeLaittre; many nieces, nephews, cousins.; adopted family, Kenny (Barb) Ley, Jeffrey (Carol Ann) Ley, Tim (Laurel) Ley; adopted grandchildren, Lorraine, Katie (Jeff) Rowland, Jacquelyn Ley, and Jeffrey (Madison) Ley, Heather and Olivia Ley; great grandchildren, Delaney and Ryan Rowland. Jerry graduated from Patrick Henry H.S. and from Dunwoody. Proud WWll Veteran, served in the Army Airforce. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad after 36 years of service. Jerry loved his family, enjoyed fishing, sports, dancing and fixing things. He will be deeply missed. Funeral Tuesday Nov. 2nd at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior @ Hope Lutheran Church, 5200 Emerson Ave. N., Mpls, MN 55430. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
