Gerald "Jerry" Mall Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” L. Mall, 90, of Sandwich, IL passed away on July 22, 2025. Jerry was born on September 13, 1934 in Sandwich, IL to Franklin and Margaret (Klotz) Mall. Jerry loved to build and work outside on his property. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Jean; 2 children, Gaylynn Ash of Sandwich, IL and Larry (Denise) Mall of Sandwich, IL; 1 daughter-in-law, Marcia Mall; 1 sister, Patricia Wallis of Sandwich, IL; 9 grandchildren, Dan (Anna), Kristen (Jeremiah), Joel (Shannon), Sarah (Joe), Megan, Amanda (Ryan), Derek, Ariel and Ed; As well as 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; A son, Doug; Son-in-law, Wayne Ash; And a brother-in-law, Ron Wallis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to The Lions Club for the Franklin Mall Project and mailed to P.O. Box 32, Sandwich, IL 60548.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
