Gerald "Jerry" Keller, 80, of Kimball Township, Michigan, died at his home from complications of Parkinson's Disease on April 28th 2025.
Jerry was born on December 7th, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to parents Ottomar and Ida Keller. He attended Birch Run Public Schools and graduated in 1962 before attending Delta College and Flint Jr. College, majoring in Retail Management.
He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves beginning in 1967 and attained the rank of Sergeant.
In 1969 Jerry met and married the love of his life, Donna and they remained married for 56 years.
Also in 1969, Jerry began his professional career as a Manager and Buyer for George Innes Menswear in Port Huron. In 1992, he began a 19-year stint at the March of Dimes where he attained the position of Division Executive Director and was responsible for managing multiple offices throughout Michigan. Later, Jerry took on a fundraising position with Autism Speaks in October 2011.
Jerry was an active member and elder of Faith Lutheran Church for his entire adult life. Jerry was very philanthropic and served his community faithfully through his various board memberships on the Red Cross, Community Mental Health, Port Huron Hospital, and Mid-City Nutrition.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Ida and Ottomar Keller and by his brother Thomas Keller. He is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Kristine Hicks (Donald "D.P.''), Becky Bolar (Charles), and LuAnn Barton. Grandchildren Jeremy DeMars, Justin DeMars, Lauren O'Farrell (Chris), Carmen Aulds (Andrew), Christopher Bolar, Megan Hicks, Jessica Hicks, and Ian Hicks as well as eight great-grandchildren – Brady Bolar, Emma and C.J. O'Farrell, Wilton, Mary, and Charline Aulds, and Juliet and Harper DeMars. Sister-in-law Gayle Wilkinson, brothers-in-law Rod Krumlauf (Marilyn), Dennis Krumlauf (Jane), and David Krumlauf (Joan), and sister-in-law Beth Keller.

A visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to noon with funeral services beginning at noon. Lunch to be served after ceremony at the church.
