Gerald Stehlin Obituary
He was born December 14, 1947, in Detroit, the son of the late Alphonse and Mildred (Marvin) Stehlin.
Surviving in addition to his wife Beverly of 16 years are children, Kimberly (Michael) Frank, Tracy Stehlin, and Brian (Jennifer) Stehlin; step-children, Kevin Fett and Alexandira Murray; grandchildren, Nicole (Matt), Justin, Kyle, Hunter, Noah, Brandon, McKenna, Alysia, Hunter and Ryder; great-granddaughters, Harper, Brielle, and Kendall; his brother, Tom (Helen) Stehlin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Skalecki, Bill Cooper, Joseph (Barbara) Gornecki, Kathleen (Robert) VanGoethem, Tom (MaryBeth) Peters, Frank Peters, Barbara Belcher, Nancy (Roy) Whitmore, and Edward (Jeri) Peters, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Patricia M. Stehlin; and his sisters, Carolyn Cooper and JoAnn Skalecki.
The family honors the memory of Gerald and invites you to a graveside service Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. noon at Resurrection Cemetery, All Saints Chapel, Clinton Township.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".

My Father was not only Married to my Mother for 35yrs & Bev 16yrs.
He was in the Military
He was an Amazing Competitive Baseball Coach for not only Recreational but Federation Travel Baseball for my brother Brian Stehlin for over 10yrs.
He was the father role model for my son Justin Stehlin when he was growing up.
He was my inspiration in the Automotive field as well as many other family members.
Very hard Worker as well as going to college with a full time job to support his family.
If you were his neighbor you were always welcome in his home.
He was into boating and taught me how to boat.
He will be extremely missed so much,
I can´t express the amount of sadness we are facing.
