Gerald Wheatcraft Obituary
Dean was a graduate of Addison High School. After graduation, Dean began working for the Corning Building Company in Corning. He worked there for 30 years before his retirement. Dean married Bonnie Abbey on September 7, 2019. In his free time, Dean enjoyed music and was an avid guitar player, performing in bands throughout the years. He loved classic cars and especially cherished the Chevrolets he owned. Dean and Bonnie also treasured the time they spent together tending their flower gardens.
Dean is survived by his wife, Bonnie Wheatcraft of Painted Post, NY; daughters: Lisa (Adam) Crawford of Addison, NY and Charllot of Bath, NY; step-children: Geraldine Ann Buckley, Helen Morgan, David Leroy Buckley, Bernice Buckley and Tammy Anderson; and siblings: Terry (Flo) Wheatcraft of Addison, NY, Bruce (Judy) Wheatcraft of Addison, NY, Brian (Lisa) Wheatcraft of Greeley, CO and Gina (Adam) Trujillo of Greeley, CO.
It was Dean's wish that there be no services. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with Dean's care. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Gerald, please visit our floral store.
