Geraldine Gibby Gudino, born on November 24, 1955, in Iredell County, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on October 6, 2025, at Newton Hospice House. She was 69 years old.

Geraldine dedicated much of her life to serving others in the nursing field as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing care and comfort to those in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Noah Gibby and Mildred Buchanan Gibby, and her beloved husband, Stephen Taylor.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her son, Jimmy Owenby, and Scott and Joe Owenby; her cherished grandchildren, Addison, Kelsey, Zoe, Tristan, Tyler, Logan, Dylan, Summer, and Jordan; and her brother, Noah Gibby Jr.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a graveside service, which will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Prior to the graveside service, there will be a viewing from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, allowing loved ones to say their final goodbyes.

Geraldine's warmth and dedication to caring for others will be remembered by all who knew her.
