Reva Krauel Dixon

Reva Krauel Dixon, born on December 17, 1928, in Danville, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on October 5, 2025, at the age of 96.

Reva dedicated much of her life to her career, retiring from a management position at Converse in Charlotte, North Carolina. Beyond her professional achievements, she was a devoted and loving presence in the lives of her family and community.

Reva found immense joy in her interests, which included golf and bowling. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she lived with a deep love for God. She cherished every moment spent with her children and great-grandchildren. A talented member of the Hendersonville Presbyterian Church, Reva shared her love for music by singing in the choir and playing the bells and chimes. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her passion for travel.

Reva is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Albert Krauel and Goldie Depke Krauel; her devoted husband of 44 years, Robert W. Dixon; her sister, Aleta Diffenderfer; her brother, Dale Krauel; her grandson, Allen Gulledge; and her granddaughter, Christine Dixon.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughters, Cinda Gulledge (Jan) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Gale Robinson (Richard) of Hendersonville, North Carolina; Kim Henson (Mike) of Shelby, North Carolina; and her son, Scott Dixon (Doris) of Cleveland, North Carolina. Her grandchildren, Michael G., Brian C., Charles D., Brice D., and Bingham D., along with her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Johnathan, Caroline, Madeline, Elijah, Noella, Savannah, Kamryn, Lisey-Anna, Kei-Mya, and Kei-Nya, will remember her fondly. Reva also leaves behind three great-great-grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and special friends.

A visitation will be held at 1 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 11th, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, concluding at 2 o'clock, followed by a service to honor Reva's remarkable life.

Reva Krauel Dixon will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, love, and dedication to her family and faith will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence.
