Geraldine Marie (Beaver) Parsons was born on December 9, 1946, in Denver, Colorado to Bernard Edward and Rena Maude Beaver.
Gerri attended grade school at Cathedral and graduated from high school at George Washington, class of 1964.
Gerri worked as an office manager and accountant for many years and retired from Teamsters Local 961.
She enjoyed various arts and crafts including sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, gardening, painting, and clay work. She loved spending time with family, always rescued her pets from shelters, and considered herself to be a minnow amongst sharks when it came to placing bets at the craps table.
Gerri is preceded in death by her husband, David Parsons, Sr. and her sister, Madonna Burcar. She is survived by her daughter Rena Donald (spouse Matthew) of Littleton, son Eric Donald (spouse Heather) of Denver, and daughter Melissa Nelson (spouse Scott) of Mesa, AZ. Gerri has 5 grandchildren, Zachary Donald, Ashley Whitehead, Brian Donald, Jamie Donald, and Taylor Nelson. Gerri also has two great grandchildren, Danika Ritter, and Melany Donald.
She will be missed by all that knew her.
Vigil Service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, 11am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101, S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. Committal Service will be held Monday, September 16, 2024, 12:30pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
