Geraldine E. "Gerry" Seamon

Geraldine E. Seamon Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved aunt passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Wellspring Lutheran Services. Age 95 years. The daughter of the late Fred and Pauline (Jekel) Kimmel, Gerry was born on August 16, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1948. Gerry married Matthew Seamon on November 26, 1955. He predeceased her on December 22, 2004. Gerry worked for Bridgeport-Spaulding Schools for 32.5 years. During that time she had received numerous awards and was very proud to have been chosen "Grand Marshall" for the homecoming parade in 2005. She was a member of the Saginaw Travel Club (Kerr Holiday Tours). She also worked for the Spaulding Township Board of Review and was an election inspector. Gerry was a former member of St. Luke's Ev. Lutheran Church and current member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her nephew and nieces, Diane Seamon and Robert (Mary) Seamon, her great nieces and great nephews, Stephen (Suzanne) Seamon II, Mark Seamon, Matthew (Lona) Seamon, Scott (Melissa) Seamon and Renee Buchanan; several great-great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great-nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Patti Kimmel. Gerry was preceded in death by her brother, James Kimmel; her nieces and nephews, Stephen Seamon, Margaret Seamon, Louis Seamon, Mary (Jerry) Tanner.
Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Andy Retberg will officiate with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
