It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Geraldine "Gerry" Stryjewski, who left us peacefully on May 31, 2025.
Gerry was a vibrant soul who filled every room with warmth and joy. She had a passion for travel that took her across the country and around the globe. She cherished bus trips with friends to local attractions and relished in the thrill of exploring new places. Gerry's love for connection was unmistakable - she enjoyed weekly card games with her close-knit group of friends and delightful lunches and dinners surrounded by family.
She was a devoted mother to her five children: Stanley Stryjewski (Kathy), Joanne Eberwein (Robert), Joseph Stryjewski (Kathy), Richard Stryjewski (Cathy), and Dawn Kuessner (Keith). Gerry was a proud grandmother of eleven, leaving behind a legacy of love with her grandchildren: Matthew Stryjewski, Lauren Kotowski, Samantha Morrison, Nicole LaCroix, Joshua Stryjewski, Jenna Connelly, Zachary Stryjewski, Morgan Alsup, Colin Eberwein, Julianna Kriss, and Brianna Fiery. Her spirit will definitely live on through her 19 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during public viewing on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. A Mass to honor Gerry will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope Church, 1727 Lynch Rd. Following the Mass, a graveside service will be held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation or The American Heart Association, honoring the compassionate spirit that Gerry embodied.
Gerry will be deeply missed, but her zest for life and unwavering love for family and friends will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege to know her.
