Lynn Martha Stryjewski

Lynn Martha Stryjewski, 83, of Edison, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at RWJ University Hospital in Somerset.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she moved to New Jersey when she was only 2 months old. She grew up in Somerville and later moved to Metuchen in 1954. She graduated from Metuchen High School in 1959 and then graduated Newark State College (currently Kean University). Lynn had also lived in Texas, Flemington, and Green Brook before her latest residence in Edison. She worked as a speech therapist at Hunterdon Medical Center as a teacher for hard of hearing children and later worked as a substitute teacher. Lynn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Thomas Stryjewski (2012); her brother, Paul Carl Becker II; her sister, Lee Becker Williams; and her former spouse, Donald R. George.
Surviving are her three children, Bill George and his wife Diane, Debbie and her husband Michael Annese, and Robert and his wife Jeanne Caprioli-George; 4 grandchildren, Cachet, Robert, Garrett, and James; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen Cemetery at 12pm.
