Geralyn (Koenigsfeld) Tweet, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025. Born in Missouri to the late Alex A. and Loretta E. Koenigsfeld, Geralyn known as Jeri by her family and close friends brought light and love into the world from the very beginning.
In 1973, she married the love of her life, Larry J. Tweet, and together they shared 51 beautiful years of marriage filled with laughter, devotion, and countless cherished memories. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Jeri is preceded in death by her brother, Alex E. Koenigsfeld, and her sister, Denise Koenigsfeld. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Craig (Debra) Koenigsfeld and sister Loretta (Robert) Tweet, along with many adoring nieces and nephews who were blessed by her gentle presence and kind heart.
A graduate of Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, AZ, Jeri began her professional journey at Sears Roebuck & Co., where she would meet Larry. She later dedicated many years of service to Mountain Bell (later US West) before enjoying a well-earned retirement.
Jeri's deep and abiding faith was a guiding force in her life. She was an active and devoted member of St. Germaine Roman Catholic Church, where she found great joy in teaching Religious Education and participating in Catholic Daughters of America. Her spiritual devotion and compassion were evident in all she did.
Those who knew Jeri will remember her for her warmth, her boundless generosity, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. She had a gentle soul and a kind smile that could brighten anyone's day. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
