Gilbert Louis Crysel

Funeral services for Mr. Gilbert Louis Crysel will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, September 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend James Greer officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Bay Springs Cemetery, Chopin, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Crysel, 73, of Tioga, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was a retired Offshore Production Supervisor after forty-one years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, woodworking, flying RC planes and helicopters, and also drones. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wylie and Ruth Crysel; and one brother, Joseph Wylie Crysel.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of forty-six years, Barbara Crysel of Tioga; three sons, Kirt J. Crysel, and his wife, Misty, of Geismar, Mike Crysel, and his wife, Leslie, of Pitkin, and Scott Crysel of Kingwood, Texas; one sister, Ouida Jo Richards of Tioga; five grandchildren, Victoria French, Kyle Crysel, Colby Crysel, Morgan Roberts, and Kaleb Crysel; and five great grandchildren.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Keith Brossett, Shea Brossett, Kalab Crysel, Colby Crysel, Colt Roberts, and Kyle Crysel.
The family would life to extend special thanks to St. Joseph's Hospice for the special care given, namely Taylor, Sean, and Loretta.
