Roy Eugene Crysel

Graveside services for Mr. Roy Eugene Crysel will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Bay Springs Cemetery, Chopin, with Reverend Donnie Burch officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Crysel, 80, of Lake Charles, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
To know Roy was to love him. He loved Jesus and his family. Roy was a proud U. S. Army Veteran. He was a car enthusiast who loved watching Nascar races and western movies. He also enjoyed eating his sweets. He was a good man and was always willing to help. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Odeal Crysel; one brother, Harvey Crysel; and one sister, Ethel Crysel Owens.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Patsy Crysel; two sons, Donnie Crysel and wife, Tammy, and Lenny Crysel and fiancé, Kaylee; three grandchildren, Hope, Kalie, and Anakin; four great grandchildren, Kaden, Noah, Logan, and Gunner; his nieces, Sonia, Emma, Sherry, Nicole, Angela, and Kristie; and his nieces children and grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Bay Springs Cemetery, Chopin, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Donnie Crysel, Lennie Crysel, Chris Kramer, Aaron Bourgeois, Jeremy Touchet, and Glenn Duplantis, Jr.
