Gilberto Hernández Nava, de 60 años, residente de Dalton, GA, falleció el lunes 10 de noviembre de 2025.

Gilberto Hernández nació el 4 de febrero de 1965 en Zacatecas, México, hijo de los fallecidos Felipe Hernández y María Nava. Esposo, padre, hermano y amigo dedicado, Gilberto trabajó durante muchos años en Wood Hollow Cabinets, donde fue reconocido por su compromiso y habilidad artesanal.

Gilberto tenía un profundo amor por la vida y encontraba alegría en la música, la cocina y la jardinería. Su compasión se extendía a los animales, y era conocido por su espíritu amable y su bondad inquebrantable hacia todos los seres vivos.

Le precedieron en muerte sus padres y hermanos: Felipe Hernández, Fina Hernández, José Guadalupe Hernández y Pepe Hernández.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Alejandra Salazar González; su hijo, José Hernández; y sus hermanos, Ramón Hernández, Refugio Hernández, Juan Hernández y Lorenzo Hernández. También deja atrás varios sobrinos, sobrinas, familiares y amigos que atesorarán su memoria.

La Misa Funeral se llevará a cabo el jueves 13 de noviembre de 2025 a la 1:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Joseph.

La visita será el jueves de 11:00 a.m. a 12:40 p.m. en Dalton Funeral Home.

Gilberto Hernandez Nava age 60, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Gilberto Hernandez was born on February 4, 1965, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to the late Felipe Hernandez and Maria Nava. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Gilberto spent many years working with Wood Hollow Cabinets, where he was known for his dedication and craftsmanship.

Gilberto had a deep love for life and found joy in music, cooking, and gardening. His compassion extended to animals, and he was known for his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness toward all living creatures.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Felipe Hernandez, Fina Hernandez, Jose Guadalupe Hernandez, and Pepe Hernandez.

Gilberto is survived by his beloved wife, Alejandra Salazar Gonzalez; his son, Jose Hernandez; and his brothers, Ramon Hernandez, Refugio Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, and Lorenzo Hernandez. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:40 P.M. at Dalton Funeral Home.
