She was born to the late Antonio and Maria (Capodilupo) Rinaldo. She grew up in San Sossio Baronia, Italy. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Alli with who she shared sixty-one years of marriage. She was the loving sister of the late Michelina DiRuzza, Lucia Fabiano and Saverio Rinaldo.
Giovanna raised her family in Beverly. She enjoyed cooking and being around her family. Giovanna was a devoted mother of her daughter, Angela (Alli) Miranda and her husband Anthony of Beverly; two sons Alberto Alli and his wife Jill of Ellicott City, Maryland, Antonio Alli and his wife Jennifer of Beverly.
Giovanna had six grandchildren who knew her as "Nonna", Marc, Giovanna and husband Kevin, Alexis, Alberto and Noah,; and great granddaughter Quinn. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Erica. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary Star of the Sea, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly. The family will receive guests from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment to follow at Central Cemetery, Beverly. Directions, information, and condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
