Giuseppina "Grosso" Iamele

Giuseppina (Grosso) Iamele, of Brockton, where she lived for the last 56 years, passed away September 11, 2025, after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Frank Iamele.

Born March 22, 1932, in Celenza Valfortore, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale Grosso and Concetta (Graofalo) Grosso.

She came to the United States of America in 1962 where she settled in Boston and then moved to Brockton.

She was a Seamstress for many years and she enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and especially time spent with her family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton.

She is survived by her children, John Iamele and his wife Elizabeth, Sandro Iamele and his wife Vicki and the late Pasquale Iamele and his wife Linda; her grandchildren, Joe Iamele, Sam Iamele and his wife Kary, Nic Iamele and his wife Sonia, Jennifer Savage and her husband Mike, Michael Iamele and his husband Garrett Lech, and Kristi Gracie and her husband Mike; her great-grandchildren, Ella, Mikey, Mikayla, Ryan, Noah, Nathaniel and Luca.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, September 18th at 9:30AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00PM-7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
