Gladys Widlacki Obituary
Ms. Widlacki, the daughter of the late Charles B. and Irene Long McWhorter, was born in Madison County on March 19, 1940. She loved reading, music and was an artist who enjoyed painting. She had worked in housekeeping for many years.
Survivors include her son: Charles Thomas of Winchester; his daughter: Leanna (& Randal) Culton of Richmond; four grandchildren: John Michael Thomas, Alison Grace (& Michael) Tatman, William Bradley Thomas and Amanda Irene Wakeham; five great grandchildren, his niece: Tonia McWhorter and other nieces and nephews.
Ms. Widlacki was also preceded in death by all of her siblings: Charles B. McWhorter, Jr., Robert McWhorter, Ellis Green "Ixie" McWhorter, Lille Mae Combs, Clementine Martin and Barbara Widlacki and her grandson: Aaron Ray Dargavell.
The family has chosen private services.
Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
