Glen Robertson, Jr., 89, of Granbury, Texas passed away on March 30, 2025. Glen was born August 21, 1935, in Salem, Indiana. Glen bravely served in the Air Force and worked for TWA as an airline mechanic for over three decades. A talented and prolific woodworker, Glen gifted his friends and family with many of his hand-crafted creations. Having grown up on a farm, Glen was also an avid gardener and enjoyed growing many different vegetables in his backyard-his annual copy of the Farmer's Almanac was always close by.
But Glen was much more than a simple list of accomplishments, hobbies and job titles. He met his wife Leah when they were teenagers. They married in 1957 and built a family and life together for over 67 years.
Nothing was more important to Glen than being a loving, supportive husband, father and pawpaw. He was never too busy to go fishing, play cards, work a crossword puzzle, help with homework, check your tires or fix a broken toy. He had a legendary sweet tooth, especially for Leah's coconut cream pie. Glen made the world's best hot chocolate and chocolate chip ice cream, and he pulled many epic practical jokes on a family that always fell for them.
Glen was loved beyond measure by his family. He is survived by his wife, Leah Raye Robertson; his daughters Karen Keller (Tom) and Lisa Robertson; his granddaughter Danielle Courtney (Ryan) and grandson TJ Keller (Lindsey); great-granddaughters Aeva Carvouniaris, Ireland Courtney and Scarlett Courtney; and great-grandsons Colin Keller and Hamilton Niesen. Glen is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Jean Warriner; son Mark Robertson; and granddaughter McKenna Harlin. He is also survived by a large, extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Glen's family asks that you join them in remembering Glen as someone who worked hard, loved hard and who never met a stranger. He was kind, funny, generous to a fault and as stubborn as it comes. But most of all, Glen was the head and heart of a family that will love and miss him forever.
