Glenda Loraine Fritts

Glenda Loraine Fritts, 79, of Evansville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Glenda was born on August 29, 1945, in Evansville to the late Warren C. and Evelyn Cecilia (Walters) Dix. Glenda was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church; she lived her life for Jesus and her family. She enjoyed taking her trips to Florida, traveling with her sister, Gayle and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Before retiring, Glenda worked as a medical records clerk at Welborn Clinic. Surviving Glenda are her husband of 62 years, Curtis Wayne Fritts; daughters, Tina (John) Montgomery, Tammy (James) McGehee and Tonya (Duane) Vanderpool; two sons, Michael (Tanya) Fritts and Scott Fritts; grandchildren, Kayla Fenwick, Noah Fritts, Alaina Hobgood, Paige McGehee, Alexis McGehee and Addison Fritts and two great grandchildren, Abigail and Levi Fenwick. Glenda is also survived by her thirteen siblings; sisters, Donna, Carol, Gayle, Patty, Nini and Jessica, and brothers, Glen, Don, Dan, Mark, Curt, David and John. Funeral services for Glenda will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 PM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
