Glenda Fyffe aged 77 departed peacefully, surrounded by family at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio on February 25, 2025.
Glenda was born March 22, 1947 in Paintsville Kentucky to Joe and Goldie Peters. She married her true love, Larry Wayne Fyffe Sr on September 4, 1965.
She was a devoted child of God, a creative quilter, card player and gardener. She was a very hard worker her entire life and loved listening to bluegrass music. Glenda was known to care for her family and friends fiercely.
Glenda is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Larry Wayne Fyffe Sr and their children: Lisa (Rocky Jenkins) Fyffe, Larry Wayne (Nicole East) Fyffe Jr, their six grandchildren; Jovi "Mandy", Leah, Misty, Jeffrey, Ashley, Evan and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Minnie (Clyde) Jordan and Michael (Virginia) Peters.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Goldie Peters, siblings Jane (Bob) Earwood, Izane (Silas) Showater, Irene (Elbert) Ruggles, Genora (Zack) Napier and George Peters.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio. Burial will follow at Evergreen Union, Cemetery, Denver Road.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
