Glenda Gould Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Glenda Dale Gould passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 at the age of 69 in her home town of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma.
Glenda was born on September 21, 1955 to Eddie & Lou Ann Ward. A 1973 graduate of Webbers Falls High School, Glenda went on to graduate from Northeastern State University. Glenda spent many years as a dedicated accountant with AMACO Oil and later with Cross Telephone. During this time Glenda met her late husband Paul. Together they owned and operated a local crop-dusting business that proudly served the surrounding communities for many years. They will be missed by the many friends from the OAAA. Glenda and Paul shared a deep love for golden retrievers. As active supporters of a golden retriever rescue organization, they personally adopted several dogs over the years.
Glenda was an accomplished pianist, who faithfully played every Sunday for many years. Her music brought peace and joy to those around her and remains a cherished part of her legacy. Any one that knows Glenda knows she was a perfectionist. Whether it be making sure Paul kept his log book up to date or she just couldn't read Mr. Stricklins' writing on the ledger, nothing less than perfection would do. In her spare time, when she wasn't loading a plane, fueling a plane, washing a planes windshield or getting airplane parts, Glenda found joy in the everyday moments. Going to basketball games to cheer on her brother or using her burger barn gift card to get pie on Friday and don't forget the cherry Dr. Pepper with so much ice the lid doesn't fit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and her parents, Eddie and Lou Ann Ward.
She is survived by her brothers, Jerry Ward and wife Lisa, Darrell Ward, Brother in law; Bryan Gould and wife Andrea, niece; Julie and husband Angelo, nephews; David Ward and wife Ashley, Tye Weaver and wife Monique, Robert Ward and wife Amy and Grant Ward.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Glenda's life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, OK. Her viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore from 10am to 8pm with family greeting friends from 6pm to 8pm. The service will be live streamed on the First Baptist Church of Webbers Falls Facebook page.
Pallbearers will be Grant Ward, Layne Ward, Talon Weaver, Cruz Ward and Cade Weaver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Ross, Rick Shelby, Jim Gehley and Andrew Swearingon.
