Glenda Jean Grubbs, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 7,2025, in Grandview, Texas, at the age of 80. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 15, 1944, Glenda was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Known for her love of dancing, Glenda's zest for life was evident in every step she took. She was a passionate traveler,  from Florida to New York to California. She enjoyed gambling at Winstar and in Las Vegas, where she could often be found with a smile on her face, embracing the thrill of each moment.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Connie Daniels and Elizabeth Anderson, along with her partner Mark, who will forever hold dear the memories of their time together. Her granddaughter, Nicole Williamson, and her partner Milton Brock; grandson, Tyler Anderson, and his wife, Krissa Anderson; granddaughter, Jessie Anderson, and her fiancé, Jason Anderson; as well as granddaughter, Kylee Daniels.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Geraldine Cross; her spouse, Donnie Grubbs, Sr.; her brothers, Kenneth Cross, Marvin L. Cross, Jr., and Tommy Cross; as well as her grandsons, Nevil Bruce Williamson, Jr. and Nicholas Don Williamson.

In addition to her family, Glenda had numerous relatives and loyal friends who enriched her life, particularly Pat Cunningham and Cindy Taylor, both of whom shared in many joyous times with her.

Glenda Jean Grubbs will be remembered not only for her adventurous spirit and love for life but also for the profound love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy will continue to live on through the hearts of those she touched, as they carry forward the kindness and joy she effortlessly shared with the world.

Service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, January 17, 2025 at the funeral home.
