Glenda M. "Mac" MacPhee

Glenda M. MacPhee, affectionately known as "Mac" to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, just shy of her 71st birthday. She was born on February 15, 1954, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Glen & Verna (Luce) McPhee.
Mac was a dedicated worker, spending 19 years at Stalkers Corp. in Essexville, where she crafted airplane parts. Her commitment to caring for others shone brightly when she transitioned to become a C.E.N.A. at the Carriage House nursing home, working alongside her daughters. Mac's compassionate spirit extended to her roles at Heartland and Dobson home health, where she continued to provide comfort and care to those in need.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was playing bingo, trying her luck at the casino, or settling down to watch her favorite shows. Music filled her home with melody, and her beloved cat was never far from her side. Yet, above all, it was her family that brought Mac the greatest happiness.
Selfless, funny, and wise, Mac was the heart of her family, a source of endless love and guidance. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lisa McPhee (Perry) and Michelle McPhee (Greg); her cherished grandchildren, Savannah (Stephen) Wilcox and Breonna Harris, Skyler Tolliver, and her adored great-grandchildren, Savion Marshall and Kehlani Harris. Mac's sisters, Cindy McPhee and Valerie McPhee, and brothers, Chris McPhee and Rodney McPhee, along with many nieces and nephews, will miss her dearly. A special longtime friend Jane Stanley. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her brother Glen McPhee and her stepmother Marcia McPhee, who preceded her in death.
Mac's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and resilience. Her legacy will live on in the stories shared by her family and the countless lives she touched with her kindness. As we bid farewell to Glenda M. MacPhee, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she has left on our hearts.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Rivertown Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm with Dusty Ballard presiding. Friends and family may visit at the chapel from 12:00 pm until time of service.
