Maj Minto always had a calming presence. During mock trial in JASOC when we felt like we had just made the biggest mistakes in the entire world, Maj Minto always knew the exact words to say to help us learn the ropes and build confidence as litigators in training. His guidance and encouragement built us up immensely. He made each and one of us that much better as a JAG. Maj Minto was also candid and thoughtful towards his students. He shared his past struggles and successes of being a JAG so we could be better. He is deeply missed. To the Minto Family, thank you for your son and for the chance to have crossed path with him. All the blessings!

I'll always remember Maj Minto yelling at the top of his lungs after a JASOC fitness event to offer us encouragement! His leadership got us all across the finish line and served as the foundation to serve as he did. His chant still rings in my ears and makes me smile when I think on the simpler times of going to class and making memories. He will have an everlasting impact on me. Blessings!
