Glenn Felix Blaylock

Glenn Felix Blaylock passed away April 11, 2024, in Conroe, Texas. Glenn was born in Lubbock, Texas to Ralph and Viola Blaylock on January 9, 1953. He was the fourth of six children, four boys and two girls. Glenn lived on East 52nd Street most of his life. After a severe car accident Glenn lived with his parents and helped them operate the Blaylock Grocery located at 50th Street and Martin L. King. Glenn walked many miles up and down 50th Street to get his cup of coffee. After his mother's death, he moved to Huntsville to live with his brother David and his wife and then with his sister, Helen. Due to failing health, he was residing at Focused Care of Huntsville. When Glenn said goodbye, he always said "Love ya!"
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Viola Blaylock; brother, Wayne Blaylock; nephews, Cally Belcher and Jeff Blaylock and niece, Keli Blaylock. He is survived by brother, Forrest Blaylock and wife, Cynthia, and David Blaylock and wife, Cindy and his sisters Helen Belcher and Zula Hopper and husband, Lance. Also surviving is sister-in-law Marian Blaylock and special friends, Art Murray, Joe Murray, and Lorrie Bailey. Glenn was also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation is set for 10:00 Friday, April 19, 2024 at Sander's Funeral Home with graveside services at 2:00 at Lubbock Cemetery.
