Glenn Leroy Carden of Stella, Missouri, a man of many stories, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 13, 2025 at the age of 90 years old.

He was born January 5, 1935 in Bethpage, Missouri to Denzel and Mary Mae (Cline) Carden.

Glenn graduated from Neosho High School in 1953. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he proudly spent 22 years serving his country.

Glenn married his sweet love, Mary Kathryn Young on August 28, 1955 in Neosho, Missouri. She preceded him in death on September 17, 2016, soon after celebrating 61 years of wedded bliss.

In 1976, after retiring from the Air Force as Chief Master Sergeant Carden, Glenn enrolled at Crowder College and obtained a degree in agriculture, allowing him to fulfill his subsequent career as a cattle rancher.

A man of faith, Glenn was a member of Stella Baptist Church.

He also attended Living Word Ministries, Neosho Community Chapel, and services during his time at Oak Pointe.

Glenn was witty, kind, and always had a 'war story' to share with friends and family.

He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his children Curtis (Cheryl) of Stella, Missouri and Pamela (James 'Mike") Lynn of Neosho, Missouri, one sister Gaye Nell (Bill) Gillstrap of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, three grandsons, Justin Baker, Jacob Carden, and Lucas Carden, great-granddaughter, Katelyn 'Katie' Allen, and great-grandson, Briar, who is on the way, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and family.

In addition to his wife, Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and son Clifford Allen.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Masonic services will begin at 4:00pm, prior to visitation.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025 at 1:00pm, also at Clark Funeral Home.

Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Glenn will be laid to rest with full military honors conducted by the Missouri Funeral Military Honors Program.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Stella Senior Center or Union Cemetery, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Missouri 64850.
