Glenn Douglas Hopkins, Jr, 55, of Indianapolis, IN left us on Sunday morning, October 29th.
Glenn was born on March 26, 1968 in Vandalia, Illinois.
He is survived by his son Liam Michael Hopkins, 22 of Indianapolis, IN, his child Whisper Orion
Hopkins, 24 of Indianapolis, IN, sister Patty Claussen, bother-in-law Joe Claussen, nephew
Wesley Claussen, niece Alexandria Claussen, grandparents Jim & Susan Claussen and girlfriend, Angie Cora.
Glenn was a renowned, professional drummer and a professional hair designer.
He played in the bands Tres Amigos (Roger Osburn, Jay Petraits), Snakeskin Cowboy (Jimmy
Cain, Scott Newbold, Jeff Stiner), Rebekah Meldrum Band (Rebekah Meldrum, Joe Hart, Roger
Osburn) and filled in with many other art-ists. He was employed by 86th Street Hair Design, Indianapolis, IN.
His passions were music, drumming, singing, recording music, writing music, working with his
clients at the salon and riding his motorcycles. Glenn was also an avid reader and knowledgeable about many, varied subjects, including sports.
Glenn was probably most noted for his infectious smile, his big hugs and for always telling
EVERYONE, "I love you!" He never left a person without telling them he loved them. He shared
love, joy and peace with everyone he met. He was gregarious and will be greatly missed - leaving a hole and sorrow in so many hearts.
