Glenn Alvin Steffey of Dallas, Georgia, passed away 2 days before his 88th birthday. Born in Kingsport, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Grover and Sue Steffey. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Glen 'Tater' Steffey, and his brothers, Wayne Steffey, Lee Steffey, and Dexter Steffey.
Growing up in Tennessee, Glenn became an avid Tennessee Vols fan for life. He enjoyed watching all Vols sports, especially football, basketball, and baseball. For many years, Glenn coached Little League Baseball. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1955 until being honorably discharged in 1958. He worked for several years and retired from the printing business. In his later years, Glenn enjoyed watching and feeding the turkeys and wildlife near his home. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his precious dog, Hannah II.
His survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy & Jeff Aycock of Ranger, GA; his son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Melissa Steffey of Waco, GA; his companion and friend, Regina Steffey; his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis & June Steffey; his six grandchildren; and his four great-grandchildren.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the Steffey family.
