Gloria Faye Eppard

Gloria Faye Roach Eppard, 79, of Elkton, Va, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Eppard was born on October 22, 1945, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late John G. Roach Sr, and Lethia Morris Roach.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a grandson, Larry Alan Eppard Jr. and her siblings, Edward Roach, Maynard Roach, Mencil Roach, Gilbert J. Roach Jr., Eugene Roach, Trilla Arey, Genevie Hawkins, Goldie Pleasants.
She was a devoted member of 30 plus years at Family Worship Center in Harrisonburg and loved shopping and reading. Her and her husband always looked forward to their "Date Day and Night" every Friday. She worked in the poultry business for many years before retiring. She was a devoted wife and an amazing mom, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all those who loved her.
On June 29, 1975 she married the love of her life, Larry Franklin Eppard, who died November 1, 2021. Mrs. Eppard is survived by a son, Larry A. Eppard and wife, Candy of Elkton; daughters, Debra Massey and husband, Eric of Dayton, Peggy S. Hensley and husband, Lynn of Harrisonburg; a sister, Bonnie Ingram of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton, with Pastors Jacob Myers and Tony Hiles officiating. Interment will follow at Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
