Gloria G. Hall

Gloria G. Hall, 89, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
She was born in Old Forge, PA, to the late Evan and Alice Gambal and was the wife of the late Edward C. Hall, Jr.
Gloria was a 1953 graduate of Old Forge High School; she then received her nursing degree from Scranton State School of Nursing in 1956. Gloria went on to work at Ephrata Community Hospital, Maple Farms, and other various doctor's offices.
Gloria is survived by two daughters, Diane M., wife of Dennis L. Royer of St. John, FL, Linda J., wife of the late Michael D. Matthews of Arlington, VA; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jean, wife of the late David C. Hall of Greenwhich, CT; a sister, Jean, wife of John Semian of Fallston, MD; four grandchildren, Matthew Hall, Nicholas Royer, Logan Matthews and Peter Matthews.
In addition to her husband, son, and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Gambal, Dr. David Gambal and a sister, Anna Oslinsky.
The viewing was held Friday, October 31, 2025 at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, and was followed by her funeral service with Pastor Mark Luscombe officiating. Interment took place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
