Gloria Lorraine Jones (Cakes) departed this life on July 25, 2025 in the comfort of her home. Gloria was born on January 29 1960 in Norfolk Virginia to the late Stephen & Ida Jones.

At an early age Gloria and her siblings lost their beloved mother. Gloria was adopted and raised in Salisbury Md., by her late Great aunt Flossie B. Reynolds. She received her education through the Wicomico County educational facilities Salisbury Elementary, Prince Street Elementary and James M. Bennett High School.

In 1993 Gloria committed her life to Christ. She joined the United Faith of Churches of Deliverance, where she exercised her love for God.

Gloria was employed fifteen years by Public Partners in Norfolk, Virginia as a caregiver until she retired in 2023. Gloria relocated to Cambridge Md. where she found employment at Mallard Bay Nursing & Rehab as a laundry aide.
