Gloria J. Seniw age 93 went to her eternal rest on April 2, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents John and Marie Seniw, brother John Seniw, son John Potochniak and daughter in law Vickie Weiner. Gloria is survived by her brother Joseph Seniw (Patricia Seniw), grandchildren Stephen Potochniak (Kayla Rigney), Courtney Scales (Jason Scales) and Matthew Potochniak. She is also survived by her beautiful great-grandchildren Savannah, Killian, Jameson, and Sophia.
Born in Binghamton NY, she was a lifelong resident of Broome County NY. Gloria graduated from Johnson City High School. Gloria went on to complete her Associates degree at Broome Community College and then went to Binghamton University for her Bachelors degree. She was employed and retired from GAF, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist.
When Gloria was not working, she was enjoying being outdoors in her garden growing all sorts of flowers and veggies. She enjoyed watching all her grandchildren when they were playing sports. Everyone referred to her as "GMA". Gloria always had an open door policy to anyone. Gloria was very involved with her church especially baking for the church events. She loved to bake and you never knew what she was making in the kitchen.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that took such great care of Gloria in her final days. Thank you to all the aides that assisted in her care that allowed her to stay in her home for as long as she could.
Services will be Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, 230 Ukrainian Hill Rd, Johnson City NY 13790 at 10am. Burial will be private to family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in Gloria's memory can be sent to Sacred Heart Ukrainian Church.
