Born in Hackensack, Gloria grew up in Rutherford and later moved to Fair Lawn where she had lived for most of her life. A bookkeeper for an accountant in Wyckoff, Gloria enjoyed crocheting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Hawthorne.
Gloria was the beloved wife of thelate Carol F. Sippie (1992). Loving mother of Nancy Amiaga and her husband Christopher of Butler. Grandmother of Emma Amiaga. Predeceased by her brothers John Solch, Frank Solch, and William Solch. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 9:30am, meeting at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
