Golda Kanode Obituary
A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Kanode and the daughter of E. Edward Sutphin and Cora Gray Sutphin, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Alma, Virginia, and Violet; brothers, Clement and Warren; and longtime friend and companion, Melvin B. Spencer.
Those left to cherish her memory are her longtime friend, Arbutus Ingram and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
