Frank was born June 7, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Gorden and Mary Odell Duckett. He was a member of Oakley Baptist Church and loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting and the A-Model club. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Oakley Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 2:00pm. Rev. John Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in Emma's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Capps, Jackie Capps, Tim Capps, Rex Thompson, Russ Crisp, Keith Morton, Hugh Bridges and Byron Watkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Capps, Bob Crisp, Mike Crisp, Gerald Tesner, Bill Keys, Gene Merrill, Henry Martin, JC Arrowood, Bill Cairnes, Ted Meadows, Joe Moore and Adam Bridges.
Flowers are accepted and appreciated. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution are encouraged to consider Oakley Baptist Church or West Asheville Baptist Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sherri Watkins, Frank's caregiver extraordinaire for over 10 years and to the staff of Centerwell Home Health who assisted Frank for the past 4 years.
The family of Frank will forever be thankful for the support of his many family and friends over the years.

Susan, please accept my most sincere condolences. Although it has been many years since I´ve seen you, I still remember how you spoke of Frank with such love. May the good memories and the mighty grace of God see you through this hardest of times.

Frank was special to us, Susan and I were good friends and we spent good times with them over the last 8 or 9 years. We know he is walking with the Lord now and will be forever fondly remembered. Linda and Peter Sotriffer

Susan, I'm so sorry I lost track of Frank just as you needed me. He was always so much fun to be around. You never knew what he was going to say. Much love to you and Elizabeth

Susan. So saddened by Frank´s passing. It was my privilege to be a fellow student with him at Reynolds High School and N C State University, and as a coworker for many years at Square D. He was of great assistance to me at Square D, if he said he would get something done it got done. I always enjoyed his unique sense of humor.

Susan and Elizabeth ... know you are sad but thankful Frank is whole again and with his sense of humor, heaven is already smiling! He always made me laugh! Praying for your memories to sustain your broken hearts and love you both. Penny and Bob Ball
