Gordon L. Lewis, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away on July 27, 2025, in Marianna, Florida, at the age of 74. Born on April 8, 1951, in Wewahitchka, Florida, he lived in Altha and dedicated his life to his family and his work for many years as a heavy equipment operator in the logging business.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Kerri Lewis, along with his sons, Willie and William Lewis, and his daughters, Sheila Webb, Amanda Lewis, and Morgan Lewis. Gordon shared a bond with his sisters, June Pitts and Betty Malone and her husband James; a son in law Ron Taylor. He was also a proud grandfather to two special grandchildren, Kelston Taylor and Miguel Arguelles, and held a special place in his heart for his nephews, Tracey Jack and Justin Lewis and will be remembered by a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He also leaves behind what he considered his best friend for over 20 years, his horse Kitty.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sebron and Litmay Lewis, as well as his brothers, Robert, Carl, Richard, and Charles Lewis as well as a son in law, Wilford "Wimpy" Webb.
