Gordon Puffer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes and Hedges Cemetery - Camdenton on Feb. 21, 2026.
Gordon Scott Puffer, age 62, of Linn Creek, Missouri passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Scott was born on April 13, 1963, in Buffalo, New York, the son of Gordon Nye and Barbara Ann (Pawlak) Puffer. He was united in marriage to Lori Warren on April 26, 2015.

Scott found his greatest joy in sharing life's adventures with his beloved wife, whether they were exploring America's national parks, taking memorable motorcycle trips, or carving fresh tracks together on the ski slopes. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he rarely missed a game and cheered them on with unwavering loyalty. At home, he was known as the "Master Griller," bringing family and friends together with his legendary barbeque and warm hospitality. He generously gave his time as part of his church's volunteer construction team, always ready to lend a hand wherever it was needed. Above all, he believed that family and friends were everything, and he built his life around creating lasting memories, sharing laughter, and strengthening the bonds he treasured most.

Scott is survived his wife Lori Puffer; his step daughters Sarah Sellers (Virgil), Carrie Johnson, Julia Ring-Kilongkilong (Aristotle); his grandchildren Trevor Therrien, Carson Brazzel (Anna), Morgan Vertner (Hunter), Emersyn Johnson, and Arlington Johnson; his sister Wendy Hicks, Karen Whaley (Brian); his niece Sheila Hicks; nephew Luke Whaley; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Barbara Puffer, and stepson Aaron Ring.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Canopy Church in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for a visitation at the church from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S. Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020, (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
